Besides being functional as natural cremation urns, our pet monuments make for beautiful landscape accents. They are used by pet cemeteries and memorial parks as headstones and offered by us to families who lovingly place them in the front, backyard or garden of their residences.

All of our pet monuments are accurately molded from real rocks, manufactured from construction-grade GFRC cast stone to withstand 9,000 psi (pounds per square inch) of pressure and freeze-thaw, heat and humidity and other normal to extreme conditions. Each comes with a factory issued lifetime guarantee and is estimated to last 100 to 150 years before requiring any restoration.

The rugged castings are hollow, approx. one-inch thick, open at the bottom, and include a 7 1/2" (W) x 3-1/2" (H) bronze plaque which is permanently installed in a hand-chiseled recess in the rock.

All three pet monuments weigh between 40-60 lbs. so they can be shipped via FedEx Ground, but are exact replicas of boulders that would normally weigh 500-600 lbs. They are offered in a choice of three colors-Slate Gray, Sandstone and Red Rock (see examples below).

The monuments also include a 250-cubic-inch, moisture-resistant internal urn for cremated remains or keepsakes such as a favorite toy, grooming brush, ID tags, leash or written expressions of love. The rule of thumb is for every pound of a pet's weight one cubic inch of space is required for its cremated remains so ample additional space for other animals' ashes in the urn is often available.

The thick, industrial-grade polyvinyl chloride urn and threaded cap are accessed from under each model and opened and closed by hand so the cremated remains and/or keepsakes can be placed inside.

Normal turnaround time for orders is 20-25 business days. (4-6 weeks)

All pet monuments include an inlaid, custom made, beautiful bronze plaque sized 7 1/2" (W) x 3 1/2" (H).

The plaque can feature up to six lines of text with as many as 46 characters per line, typically a pet's name, date of birth-death, and special verse or quote (each letter, number, space and punctuation is a character that should be counted in this per-line total).

Although six lines are available, it's not necessary that all lines be used if you prefer to have less text appear on the plaque.

Once a Memorial model has been chosen, you should prepare up to six (6) lines of text with as many as 46 characters per line for the bronze plaque (each letter, number, space and punctuation is a character that should be counted in this per-line total). The custom text should be carefully entered on the Engraving Details dialog box, or e-mailed to us, or typed or clearly printed and sent with your order. A proof of the layout for the plaque
will be faxed or e-mailed to you for approval prior to the order being sent to the foundry for production of your plaque.

An optional, custom engraved black granite plaque is also available as an alternative to the standard bronze plaque. This plaque takes less time to produce, so if there is a hurry, it can save a couple of weeks production time. There is also no limit to the size, style, number of lines or characters of the text, so you are able to be more creative in it's design. Family logos, crests or LINE ART pictures can also be added to the granite plaques.
