Memorial Cast Stone Boulder
with Cast Bronze Plaque Included!
This rugged casting is hollow, approx. one-inch thick, and open at the bottom. Internal anchor/lock points are included to prevent theft. The space inside can be modified, adding one or two urns for cremation ashes.
The stones are manufactured from construction-grade GFRC cast stone to withstand 9,000 psi (pounds per square inch) of pressure and freeze-thaw conditions. They weigh between 50-60 lbs. each, but are an exact replica of a size of boulder that can weigh 500-1,000 lbs.
With a lifetime manufacturer's guarantee, this model is available in a color choice of Sandstone, Slate Gray (which looks great here in Texas!) or Red Rock.
All of our memorial boulders include a hand-chiseled recess and a bronze plaque, 7-1/2" (W) x 5" (H) in size. For an additional cost, Granite, Glass/Crystal, Marble, Acrylic and Stainless Steel plaques are also available, as well as plaques with company logos, engraved photographs/pictures on marble/granite, larger/smaller plaques, etc.
Once a Memorial model has been chosen, you should prepare up to 10 lines of text with as many as 46 characters per line for the bronze plaque. Each letter, number, space and punctuation is a character that should be counted in this per-line total. (The upgrade to 11-1/2" x 8" can have 18 lines of text and 70 characters per line.) The custom text should be carefully entered on the Engraving Details dialog box, or e-mailed to us, or typed or clearly printed and sent with your order. A proof of the layout for the plaque will be faxed or e-mailed to you for approval prior to being sent to the foundry. Other custom sized plaques are available.
